Job summary

CSL Vifor in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a Plasma Processing Associate responsible for sampling, testing, shipping and storing donor plasma, following SOPs to maintain product quality and donor safety.

You will work under supervision, perform basic math calculations, handle labeling and packing, monitor freezers, document donor data, and comply with safety and OSHA policies while occasionally cross-training in other areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units properly according to SOPs and handle unsuitable plasma units as needed.
• Verify pre-printed labels against dynamic labels to ensure accuracy.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and seal for sterility and quality.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as required by SOPs.
