Job summary

Donor Network of Arizona is seeking a Donor Legacy Charge to lead shift activities and provide real-time operational direction for Donor Legacy operations. The role mentors Donor Legacy Advocates, supports compassionate, ethical family donation conversations, and collaborates with cross-functional partners to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as Donor Legacy Advocate, Family Services Coordinator, Donation and Family Advocate or similar OPO role.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in OPO lead, preceptor, charge or supervisory capacity.
• Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC/CEPTC).
• Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS).

Responsibilities

• Provides shift leadership and real-time operational direction for Donor Legacy activities.
• Coaches and supports Donor Legacy Advocates during routine and complex cases.
• Advises on timing and approach for authorization discussions with families.
• Collaborates with Organ Advisor on Call, ROC, ORO, and HE&S teams for information exchange.
• Reviews documentation and case activity in real time for quality and performance.
• Attends meetings and maintains knowledge of SOPs and CEU requirements.
