Job summary

Donor Network of Arizona is seeking a Donor Legacy Supervisor to lead the Donor Legacy team, oversee family support and authorization practices, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves staff development, consultation on complex cases, and cross-functional collaboration to advance the organization’s mission in organ and tissue donation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in organ procurement, donation authorization, donor family services, healthcare operations, or related field.
• Experience in chaplaincy, counseling, social work, crisis intervention, education, organ and tissue donation, or other healthcare-related disciplines is required.
• Preferred: 3–5 years of OPO experience, leadership experience with staff coaching and performance management, and experience supporting complex family interactions and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, coaching, performance management, and professional development for staff.
• Offers operational oversight and decision-making support for family support, authorization practices, and complex donation cases.
• Supports donor families and staff with compassionate communication and informed decision-making during the donation process.
• Oversees quality assurance, staff education, documentation reviews, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with hospital partners and cross-functional teams, managing scheduling, staffing, and hiring support.
