Homes For Our Troops is seeking a dedicated donor database administrator to handle daily processing of gifts in Raiser's Edge and to support accurate donor records. The role includes posting reports, ensuring data integrity, and providing policy guidance within a collaborative nonprofit team.

The position requires at least two years of nonprofit administrative experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail required.
• Working knowledge of fundraising/constituent-based software preferred. Experience with Raiser's Edge preferred.
• Minimum of two years of administrative experience in a multi-functional non-profit environment (annual giving, development) preferred.
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to independently initiate projects and activities and set priorities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
• Customer service oriented with friendly, professional speaking voice and strong phone etiquette.
• Must be a team player and able to work with a diverse group.

Responsibilities

• Follow gift processing standards to ensure donations are used for their intended purposes and donor confidentiality.
• Accurately process donations and verify information, updating database records.
• Monitor the [e-mail] account for donor and gift data.
• Select appropriate acknowledgment letters based on system variables.
• Analyze gift and donor data to populate required fields; work with Development teams.
• Generate database reports to support DevOps and fundraising teams.
• Serve as a resource on gift policy and data entry procedures.
• Perform duties beyond job description as needed (phones, messages, assist colleagues).
• Serve on internal HFOT committees as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
