Job summary

The Center for Victims of Torture is hiring a Database Administrator to manage all aspects of the donor database (Raiser’s Edge), establish standards, train users, ensure data integrity, and handle gift processing and reporting. The role collaborates with the Development team to support complex data requests and reporting needs.

Qualifications

• 5 years of donor database experience.
• 1-2 years as a database administrator.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 3 years donor database experience.

Responsibilities

• Data Systems Management: Set standards of donor entry for all data into donor database, Raiser’s Edge, to guarantee consistency and accuracy. Train staff on use and functionality of the database.
• Major Donor Program Support: Maintain integrity of the data-driven moves management system and assist gift officers with donor data.
• Prospect Research: Conduct research to identify prospects’ capacity to give and affinity to the work of CVT.
• Supervision: Serve as the supervisor for the Development Associate and provide coaching.
• Reporting and Compliance: Provide fiscal and relationship data for monthly and yearly development reports and ensure compliance.
