Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Houston is seeking a Donation Associate to provide world-class donor experiences daily. You will accept, sort, and process donations, assist in staging items for the sales floor, and ensure safety and accurate recordkeeping in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include greeting donors, recording donations with a tablet, loading heavy items, and performing general housekeeping while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
• Reliable transportation to and from the donation center.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and provide friendly customer service.
• Sort donations and place into proper categories.
• Accept furniture donations, stage them, and move to the sales floor.
• Label equipment and operate pallet jacks safely.
• Record donations using the donor tablet and issue receipts.
• Maintain PPE and report incidents.
• Assist with loading/unloading and janitorial tasks.
