Job summary

Holy Angels Residential Facility in Shreveport, LA, seeks a full-time Philanthropy Coordinator to lead donor relations and fundraising activities. The role focuses on pipeline development, cultivation, and accurate data handling for donations, with coordination across campaigns, events, and communications.

The incumbent will design donor development materials, assist with grant proposals, and support analytics for individual, foundation, and corporate giving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of demonstrated success in fundraising, development, nonprofit, or marketing/public relations.
• Experience in healthcare, public health or community-based nonprofits preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including donor-facing content.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud resources.
• Some travel is required; personal transportation is necessary.
• Availability for occasional evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of the annual giving strategy through segmentation and engagement efforts, including appeals, campaigns, events, prospect research and qualification, pipeline development, communications, stewardship, and recognition.
• Design and implement cultivation strategies and analyze giving trends to attract, retain, and diversify the donor base based on donor interests and engagement history.
• Create and maintain donor development materials, correspondence, prospect records, reports, and presentations.
• Assist with analytics to create and execute giving plans and manage monthly sustainer programs.
• Ensure data accuracy for donations processing and reporting; maintain donor records and reports.
• Assist with grant proposals, letters of intent, grant writing and reporting; create proposals.
• Identify stewardship plans and coordinate donor communications to strengthen donor loyalty.
• Support marketing, development, and fundraising plans and related duties.
