Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, communications, or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of fundraising and donor relations experience.
• Experience researching, writing, and managing grant proposals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience planning fundraising events and donor engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement ongoing fundraising initiatives and special projects.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Foundation's development activities and support the Foundation Board.
• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
• Support donor communications, relationship management, and follow-up to ensure engagement.
• Lead or support special fundraising programs, campaigns, and events including sponsorships.
• Research grant opportunities and prepare, write, submit, and track proposals and reports.
• Maintain donor/prospect information in the development database with contributions, pledges, acknowledgments, etc.
• Prepare donor acknowledgment letters, reports, and stewardship communications.
• Collect and analyze data to support grant applications, donor communications, and impact reporting.
• Develop fundraising reports, prospect lists, and performance metrics.
• Maintain development content on campaigns and website; coordinate materials for fundraising communications.
• Assist with planning and execution of fundraising events and donor recognition activities.
• Support Ascension DePaul Foundation Board and committees with meeting logistics and materials.
• Prepare fundraising collateral and ensure accurate documentation of grants, donations, and sponsorships.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify funding priorities and gather program outcomes to build compelling cases.
