Job summary

Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Philanthropy Operations Coordinator to support gift processing, acknowledgments, and pledge reporting under the Director of Philanthropy Operations.

You will assist with donor database management, data integrity, and staff trainings, providing essential administrative support to the philanthropy team and aiding donor prospect research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of administrative, development operations, event coordination, or nonprofit support experience.
• CRM or database experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process donor gifts and issue receipts/acknowledgments per IRS standards.
• Maintain donor/prospect information in the donor database and support data health.
• Provide administrative support for the philanthropy operations team and coordinate trainings.
• Assist with research for department and prospect management.
