Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Development Office seeks an Associate Director of Development to lead donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. You will manage a portfolio and collaborate with physicians, faculty, and staff to meet fundraising targets in Boston.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5–7 years of experience; familiarity with Blackbaud CRM and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 5–7 years of related fundraising experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in data entry, data management and reporting.
• Ability to motivate, engage, influence and work collaboratively with diverse internal and external audiences.
• Experience with Blackbaud CRM (Raiser’s Edge) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Build and actively manage a portfolio of prospects and donors; meet annual fundraising targets.
• Formulate, document and execute prospect and donor moves management strategies.
• Fully document work in the donor database (Blackbaud CRM).
• Collaborate with colleagues across fundraising teams to achieve department goals.
• Develop relationships with hospital and institutional partners and provide progress updates.
• Understand mission areas and cross-team disciplines to produce case statements and proposals.
