Our client, a leading foundation based in New York City, NY, is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Fundraising Database & Operations professional to lead its Salesforce and gift processing functions.

This high-impact role will oversee donor data integrity, gift processing, reporting, and team management while partnering closely with Fundraising, Finance, and Operations to strengthen fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and organizational performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of nonprofit fundraising operations or CRM/database management experience
• Hands-on Salesforce experience, including reporting, dashboards, gift processing, and data integrity
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
• Experience supervising staff or managing data entry teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent communication skills and professional discretion

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the database and gift processing team, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient fundraising operations.
• Own and optimize Salesforce as the Foundation’s central source of truth for donor, gift, and fundraising data.
• Drive data integrity and gift processing, including audits, duplicate cleanup, quality control, acknowledgments, and Finance reconciliation.
• Turn data into strategy through dashboards, reports, donor segmentation, and analytics that support fundraising and leadership decisions.
• Partner across Fundraising, Finance, and Operations to strengthen donor engagement, stewardship, moves management, and retention.
• Improve processes and support compliance, including database workflows, audits, Form 990 reporting, and high-volume fundraising operations.
