Job summary

St. Pete Free Clinic is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising operations by ensuring gifts and donor information are accurately processed and donors receive excellent service.

The External Affairs Team will rely on reliable data and strong administrative support from this role. This position emphasizes gift processing, database maintenance in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge/NXT, reporting, and timely acknowledgements, while providing frontline donor assistance to foster community

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in database management, data processing, records management, gift processing, or a related function.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing customer service or support to internal and/or external stakeholders.
• Experience with nonprofit development, fundraising operations, or gift processing is preferred.
• Knowledge of donor data privacy and confidentiality best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process all gifts and contributions in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge/NXT within 48 hours of receipt.
• Complete deposit logs and reconcile gift records with Finance.
• Reconcile gifts from third‑party platforms and external sources.
• Ensure timely gift acknowledgements, tax receipts, and tribute letters.
• Maintain accurate donor and gift data for reporting and compliance.
• Produce standard and ad hoc fundraising reports and dashboards.
