Job summary

Indiana United Methodist Children's Home Foundation, Inc. is seeking a Development Coordinator to manage the Raiser's Edge NXT database, process gifts and pledges, and support donor relations and administrative tasks.

You will ensure timely acknowledgements, maintain data integrity, and help identify opportunities to improve systems to advance the Foundation’s mission. With strong Microsoft Office skills and a donor-centered approach, you will interact with donors, prepare board-ready reports,

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Experience in data entry, donor relations, and administrative support.
• Fast and accurate keyboarding skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent donor relations skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Critical thinker with strong organizational skills.
• Team player with sense of ownership.
• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Record and process all gifts and pledges accurately in Raiser's Edge NXT.
• Deposit checks using the remote banking system.
• Prepare and send donor gift acknowledgements.
• Maintain donor files and data integrity.
• Create queries and reports in Raiser's Edge NXT.
• Create mailing lists for appeals and newsletters.
• Interact with donors by phone or email; thank donors.
• Support board reports and special events.
• Provide general administrative assistance and improve processes.
