Job summary

The Development Coordinator at Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc. provides essential operational and fundraising support to CPC’s Development team.

Under supervision of the Donor Database Manager, you will process gifts, maintain Salesforce records, and assist with reporting and donor acknowledgements. You will work closely with team members to ensure accurate records, timely donor recognition, and efficient fundraising operations while handling administrative tasks and supporting major

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in nonprofit fundraising, development operations, database administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with the AAPI, immigrant, and low-income communities is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft acknowledgment letters and tax receipts for gifts ensuring timely and meaningful donor recognition.
• Maintain donor information in Salesforce and ensure data hygiene across platforms.
• Assist with generating reports for internal and external stakeholders to evaluate fundraising progress.
• Support fundraising operations including preparing invoices, coordinating meetings, and handling documentation.
