Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Donor Goods Processor to examine and grade donated items for resale in our Retail stores. The role moves fast in a donation-driven environment and supports production goals while following standard operating procedures.

You will greet guests, issue donation receipts, sort donations, assist truck drivers, and participate in trainings. This entry-level position requires good English communication, basic math/reading, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ to operate a forklift and comply with safety rules.

Responsabilidades

• Always display a professional, patient, and 'people first' attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Adequately handle guest questions and resolve problems by following procedures.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Effectively communicate with management when necessary.
• Perform tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions.
• Evaluate and navigate decisions effectively.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized donor door area/ADC location.
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting hazards.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
