Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring a Donations Processor to help sort donated goods and prepare them for sale across our 100+ locations. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, following standard operating procedures and contributing to a mission that helps local job seekers.

The role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, safety, and consistent training. You will interact with donors, maintain a clean work area, and support loading/unloading with our truck teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Must be able to work at any Goodwill ADC within the territory as needed.
• Must be 18+ to operate forklift; 16-17 not allowed.

Responsibilities

• Always display a professional, patient, and 'people first' attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Adequately handle guest questions and resolve problems by following procedures.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Communicate with management when necessary.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
