Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a proactive operations leader to manage daily donor center operations. You will ensure regulatory compliance, oversee staff, and drive efficiency while maintaining top safety and quality standards.

The role requires experience in a fast-paced, highly regulated setting, with focus on training, performance management, and collaboration across teams to meet KPIs and production targets.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required (12 months applicable experience preferred).
• 1 year of operations/supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year of people management experience (recruiting, training, etc.) preferred.
• Trained in all production areas.

Mansioni

• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP) to ensure high production, safety, and quality standards.
• Assist with inspections, audits, and CAPA with other departments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and optimize processes.
• Promote and enforce Safety, Health, and Environmental policies; conduct safety training and address unsafe conditions.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure equipment readiness and facility cleanliness.
• Safeguard product storage integrity; manage shipments and mitigate equipment failures per SOPs.
• Support production targets, cost optimization, and inventory management.
• Assist with hiring decisions, performance evaluations, and employee development.
