Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily donor center operations in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure regulatory compliance, oversee inspections, and drive efficiency through quality initiatives.

The role includes staff training, performance management, scheduling, and maintaining safety standards while supporting cost optimization and inventory control. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent (GED) with 12 months applicable experience.
• 1 year of operations and/or process management/supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year of people management preferred including recruiting, training, etc.
• Trained in all production areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations to ensure the highest production, safety, and quality standards.
• Assist with internal and external inspections, audits, and CAPA.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and processes.
• Promote and enforce Safety, Health, and Environmental policies; conduct safety training.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of donor center equipment and facility cleanliness.
• Safeguard the integrity of product and sample storage equipment; manage shipments and unsuitable products.
• Support operational and fiscal goals by assisting with production targets, cost optimization, and inventory management.
• Provide input on employee performance management including evaluations and actions; support hiring and promotions.
• Foster a positive, inclusive culture and HR policy adherence.
• Act as a Designated Trainer for on-the-job and certification training.
• Maintain leadership visibility through area walkthroughs and productivity support.
• Cultivate donor relationships to encourage retention and growth, resolve complaints, support marketing.
• Manage scheduling, payroll records, and staff meetings for resource allocation.
• Monitor KPIs and address deficiencies in collaboration with leadership.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
