Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Center Director in Knoxville, TN. This full-time role focuses on donor-floor leadership, operational excellence, and a welcoming donor experience.

You will help drive goals around operations, safety, and compliance, coach the team in real time, and manage inventory while supporting rapid growth and a positive culture. Training includes travel and accommodations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or higher.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., sit or stand for extended periods, and enter cold environments (-40°C) for short periods.
• Ability to work both day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, extended shifts as needed.
• Reliable problem solver, ownership mindset and outcome orientation.
• Empathetic communicator with adaptable communication style.
• Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical thinking.
• Development-minded with a track record of learning quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations by jumping in on the donor floor, keeping things moving, and ensuring smooth donor flow and retention.
• Partner on strategy with the Center Director to plan and execute goals around operations, donor experience, and compliance.
• Lead by example and coach team members in real time.
• Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory standards, supporting audits and inspections.
• Manage and maintain inventory, equipment, and supplies.
• Recruit and develop exceptional team members and foster a culture of growth and accountability.
• Communicate and align expectations through regular team syncs, share updates, and keep everyone focused on the day’s priorities.
