Job summary

Join Parachute in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the Center Director and lead daily donor-floor operations. You will drive donor flow, uphold safety standards, and model the culture we aspire to across a fast-growing network.

The role emphasizes actionable leadership, team coaching, and continuous improvement, with a compensation structure including base pay and performance bonus. Travel for training is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher education
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., sit or stand for extended periods, and enter cold environments (-40°C) for short periods
• Ability to work both day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, extended shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations on the donor floor to ensure smooth donor flow and retention.
• Partner with the Center Director to plan and execute goals around operations, donor experience, and compliance.
• Lead by example and coach team members in real time.
• Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory standards, supporting audits and inspections.
• Manage and maintain inventory, equipment, and supplies.
• Recruit and develop exceptional team members and foster a culture of growth and accountability.
• Communicate and align expectations through regular team syncs, updates, and priorities.
