Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Center Operations Manager to oversee daily donor center activities, ensuring compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP standards.

You will lead CAPA initiatives, staff training, scheduling, and performance management to meet production targets and safety goals. The role emphasizes process improvement, maintenance oversight, donor relations, and HR support within a fast-paced, regulated environment across Des Moines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent (GED) with 12 months applicable experience.
• 1 year of operations and/or process management/supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year of people management preferred including recruiting, training, etc.
• Trained in all production areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily donor center operations and ensure production, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP) and support inspections.
• Lead quality improvements to enhance efficiency and processes.
• Enforce Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and/train staff.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure equipment readiness and cleanliness.
• Protect product storage integrity and manage shipments and unusable products.
• Support production targets, cost optimization, and inventory management.
• Participate in performance evaluations, coaching, and HR actions.
• Foster an inclusive culture and adhere to HR policies.
• Conduct on-the-job and certification training as Designated Trainer.
• Provide leadership through area walkthroughs and assist productivity.
• Maintain donor relationships, assist with retention and marketing initiatives.
• Manage scheduling, payroll records, and staff meetings.
• Monitor KPIs and address deficiencies with leadership.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
