Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. seeks a Donor Center Operations Manager to oversee daily donor center activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality operations.

You will lead inspections, drive process improvements, manage CAPA, and supervise staff, with emphasis on safety, training, and budgeting. Strong communication and organization are essential in this fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of operations and/or process management/supervisory experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of people management including recruiting, training, etc.
• Experience in fiscal management and budgeting practices preferred.
• Trained in all production areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Assist with inspections conducted by regulatory agencies and customers.
• Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
• Partner with departments to implement CAPA and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Promote Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and provide training.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of donor center equipment and ensure a clean, well-maintained facility.
• Safeguard storage equipment and manage unsuitable product and shipments per SOPs.
• Support fiscal performance by assisting with production goals and inventory management.
• Provide input on employee performance evaluations and development plans.
• Foster a positive culture aligned with HR policies and ADA accommodations.
• Serve as a Designated Trainer for training and certification; track progress.
• Maintain leadership through area walkthroughs and address operational deficiencies.
• Cultivate donor relationships and support marketing initiatives.
• Manage scheduling, payroll records, and staff meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
