Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Decatur, GA is seeking an operations manager to oversee daily donor center operations and ensure compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP.

You will lead scheduling, training, and performance management while coordinating with departments on CAPA and process improvements. The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory adherence, and cost-control to optimize production and donor services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of operations and/or process management/supervisory experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of people management required including recruiting, training, etc.
• Experience in fiscal management and budgeting practices preferred.
• Trained in all production areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with all regulations to uphold production, safety, and quality standards.
• Assist with internal and external inspections by regulatory agencies and customers.
• Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
• Partner with departments to implement CAPA and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Promote Safety, Health, and Environmental policies; provide training and mitigate unsafe conditions.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of donor center equipment and keep the facility clean and well-maintained.
• Safeguard product and sample storage equipment; manage unsuitable product and prepare shipments.
• Support fiscal performance by assisting with production goals, operational cost control, and inventory management.
• Provide input on employee performance evaluations and development plans; participate in hiring decisions.
• Foster a positive, inclusive culture aligned with HR policies and employee relations standards.
• Serve as a Designated Trainer for job and certification training.
• Maintain visible leadership through area walkthroughs and address operational deficiencies.
• Cultivate donor relationships and support marketing initiatives.
• Manage scheduling, payroll records, and staff meetings for efficient resources.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
