Job summary

Grifols seeks an Operations Manager to join its donor center leadership in Clemson, SC. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure donor safety, regulatory compliance, and attainment of production goals while leading frontline staff.

Responsibilities include budget involvement, scheduling, training, quality improvement, donor recruitment efforts, and maintaining facility and equipment integrity in a cGMP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science, Business, Nursing, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience in clinical or general business; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment preferred; plasma or whole blood experience preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA/OSHA/CLIA guidelines and cGMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee donor center operations in absence of Center Manager.
• Collaborate with Training and Quality staff to meet training and quality goals.
• Coach and lead through effective feedback to employees via Operations Supervisors.
• Monitor and evaluate operations; develop action plans with Center Manager to maximize efficiency.
• Handle all personnel functions including hiring, assignment, training, disciplinary actions, and records.
• Assist in budget preparation and oversee facility to achieve targets within cost structure.
• Delegate and monitor performance of supervisors; manage shift schedules.
• Ensure center tasks can be performed by all staff; cover production duties when needed.
• Maintain a neat, clean facility and proper equipment operation; manage freezer responsibilities.
