Job summary

Oklahoma Blood Institute in Norman, OK is seeking a friendly donor center receptionist to manage donor registration and greet all guests professionally. You will answer phones, sign in donors and visitors, and provide waiting times.

Varied full-time shifts include weekends. You will maintain canteen stock, support center staff, and use computers and Microsoft Office. A high school diploma is required and outstanding customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and friendly with upset individuals.
• Full knowledge of computers and software, including Microsoft Office products.
• Great keyboarding skills and ability to handle a multi-line phone system.
• Good critical thinking for sound judgment calls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a pleasant and welcoming attitude for all individuals who present in the donor center.
• Answering phones.
• Greet and register all donors via SOP and data systems.
• Greet and sign in all visitors to OBI, notifying appropriate staff.
• Provide pleasant communication to waiting donors and share approximate wait times.
