The Blood Connection is seeking a front-line donor services teammate in Hendersonville, NC who greets donors with warmth, confirms appointments, and supports the donor journey from check-in through post-donation steps.

As the first point of contact, you will reflect our mission with professionalism and exceptional service, while learning on-the-job to advance toward phlebotomy roles within the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously.
• Ability to work with all levels and in a diverse environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff and patrons.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome donors, verify appointment, and engage donors by name.
• Assess donor eligibility via computer verification and medical history.
• Provide educational materials and support donor experience.
• Assist donor health history and physical assessment procedures.
