Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries in Blue Springs, MO-7 is seeking an energetic Retail Processor to join our Blue Springs Store team. This hourly full-time role supports our mission, “Changing Lives Through the Power of Work!” and provides friendly service to customers, donors, and teammates.

Duties include processing donations, sorting and pricing goods, stocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness. Requires communication, organization, and basic math.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse team.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated and purchased goods into categories.
• Inspects items for quality and suitability for sales.
• Prices items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintains cleanliness and stocking of the store area.
• Provides positive customer service in-person and by phone.
• Safeguards assets and reports incidents.
• All other duties as assigned.
