Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic Retail Processor for our Saint Peters store. The role pays an hourly rate of $15.50 and offers a monthly bonus up to $250.

The ideal candidate will handle donations, sort and price items, and assist customers while upholding store standards and safety. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, 403(b)/401(a) retirement options, PTO accrual, paid holidays, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• HS diploma preferred; no degree required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse work population.
• Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, outlet, and trash.
• Inspects items to distinguish quality for sales floor, recycling, and online sales.
• Prices items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and keep store area clean.
• Provide positive customer service interactions in person and over the phone.
• Maintain professional relationships and work cross-functionally with teams.
• Follow safe work practices and keep aisles debris-free.
• Appear professional and adhere to dress code.
• Safeguard agency assets from harm, damage, or theft.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Monthly Bonus up to $250.
