Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries in O’Fallon, MO is seeking an energetic Retail Processor for our store, to support our mission, “Changing Lives Through the Power of Work!” The role is hourly full-time to help customers and donors.

You will handle donations, price items, and keep the sales floor organized, clean, and stocked, working with a diverse team. No degree required; basic math and strong communication are essential, with bonus potential up to $250 per month.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred; no degree required.
• Effective communication with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Organized and capable of interfacing with a diverse work population.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, outlet, and trash, per guidelines.
• Inspects donated and purchased goods to distinguish quality and identify items for sales floor, recycling, or online sales.
• Identify and price items within AMI pricing software guidelines.
• Maintains high quality and high quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stocks, straightens, rotates, and maintains cleanliness of the entire store area.
