Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a store associate in Missouri to support donations processing, merchandizing, and customer service. The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, organized store appearance and meeting daily production targets.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work evenings/weekends as needed, and pass a background check. No prior experience is required, and a GED or high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect donations and raw material to determine marketability per Retail Operations Manual.
• Sort raw material and categorize for store use, salvage, or trash.
• Tag donated items according to Goodwill rotation system.
• Hang sorted goods and place on sales floor per productivity standards.
• Produce the required number of items daily per minimum standards.
• Follow uniform dress code as outlined in Retail Operations Manual.
• Demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Work as a team member in a fast-paced environment; learn new procedures quickly.
• Cross-train in multiple production and customer service positions.
• Adhere to Assets Protection control and compliance procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Adhere to work schedule.
• Handle the physical requirements to accomplish daily responsibilities.
