Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a part-time associate at our Chesterfield store to help process donations, maintain store appearance, and boost customer and staff satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, handle donations promptly, and support placement on the sales floor.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), no previous experience required, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspects donations and determines marketability.
• Sorts raw material and categorizes for use or salvage.
• Tags donated items for the sales floor.
• Puts items onto the retail floor based on productivity standards.
• Adheres to uniform dress code and safety procedures.
• Communicates effectively with customers, peers and management.
