Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking an associate to support store operations by processing donations, maintaining a clean appearance, and ensuring customer and associate satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspects donations and determines marketability per Retail Operations Manual.
• Sorts raw material for store use, salvage, or trash.
• Tags donated items according to rotation system.
• Puts sorted goods on the sales floor based on productivity standards.
• Produces required number of items daily per minimum standards.
• Adheres to uniform dress code standards.
• Maintains enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Works as a team member in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Cross-trained in multiple production and customer service positions.
• Follows Assets Protection control and compliance procedures.
• Communicates effectively with customers, peers, and management.
• Adheres to the work schedule.
• Handles physical duties as described.
