Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Store Supervisor in the Baton Rouge area to oversee daily donation and production operations. You will lead the backroom team to ensure donations flow efficiently from donation door to sales floor, while meeting budgets and maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in retail or production settings, and the ability to train and coach staff. A reliable vehicle and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Leadership, team building, and mentoring experience preferred.
• Background in leading teams in retail sales, production, manufacturing, or assembly preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and pass a driving record check.
• Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power BI.
• Clear written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily donation and production operation to meet budget and comply with policies.
• Lead backroom production team to move donations to the sales floor efficiently.
• Convert donations into revenue while maintaining safety and organization.
• Schedule employees to ensure production goals are met.
• Perform quality checks on merchandise before placing on the sales floor.
• Monitor back-room supplies and assist with ordering.
• Communicate daily needs with transportation and District Managers.
• Ensure a safe, hazard-free backroom and clean store environment.
