Job summary

Goodwill stores in Baton Rouge are seeking a Store Production Supervisor to oversee daily donation and production operations. You will lead the backroom team, ensure donations flow smoothly to the sales floor, and drive performance to meet budget and quality targets.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, experience in retail or production settings, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with supervisory experience or related training preferred.
• Leadership and mentoring experience are a plus.
• Retail, production, or warehouse background is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily donation and production operations to meet or exceed budget while following company standards.
• Lead backroom production to ensure donations flow from donation door to sales floor efficiently.
• Supervise production employees to meet daily goals (minimum 110 garments/hour, 90% quality).
• Ensure backroom workflow is optimized for production and accuracy of counts.
• Monitor waste and ensure sellable merchandise is preserved.
• Perform quality checks before items reach the sales floor.
• Communicate daily needs with transportation and District Managers.
• Maintain safe, clean backroom environment and ensure proper scheduling to meet goals.
• Handle basic cash register duties in emergencies.
