Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF CENTRAL FLORIDA is seeking a Donation Processor/Store Associate to efficiently greet donors, process incoming donations, and price and hang merchandise. You will maintain a clean processing area and support stock rotation while providing courteous customer service.

The role requires physical stamina to lift items, basic math for pricing, and familiarity with textile articles. On-site position with a team-oriented environment in Sanford, FL.

Qualifications

• Retail/stock handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Excellent customer service skills and courteous communication.
• Knowledge of textile articles and garment classification (gowns, shirts, pants).
• Basic math and money handling; ability to perform unit conversions.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with barcode scanning.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers with a friendly, professional attitude and issue donation receipts.
• Sort and price donations, hang garments, and place merchandise on racks per policy.
• Maintain clean, safe processing area and orderly stock rotation.
• Direct customers to proper areas and assist with loading items as needed.
• Monitor for safety and report suspicious activity to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store/Team Leader.
