Job summary

GOODWILL OF CENTRAL FLORIDA is seeking a Donation Processor to assist donors, process items, and maintain a clean, welcoming sales floor in DeLand. You will greet donors, issue receipts, rotate stock, and ensure merchandise is displayed by category and textile type.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, preventing theft, following safety procedures, and supporting store operations. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are preferred; physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds is

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Basic computer skills and ability to look up information.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts.
• Rotate stock on a timely basis and bring stock to sales floor.
• Place and present merchandise on appropriate textile racks and shelves.
• Sort, box and label hangers by type.
• Assist in textile color rotation per procedure.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Direct customers to proper area and provide information as requested.
• Stay alert for shoplifting and notify management of suspicious activity.
• Keep sales floor and production area clean and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and assist in emergencies.
