Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking team members to support donation processing and daily operations at our locations. You will examine and grade donated goods, process items to meet daily goals, and move across multiple areas to maintain productivity.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and communication with management. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, fluency in English, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Effectively process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Effectively communicate with management and other team members.
• Effectively promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Consistently perform work tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area at all times.
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to management.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
