Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for resale at our Retail stores. You’ll process items quickly to meet daily production goals while following standard operating procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The role supports multiple work areas, communicates with management and teammates, and helps maintain a clean, safe workspace. We offer weekly pay, PTO, employee discount, health benefits, uniforms, and free job skills training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication in English.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.
• Must be 18+ to operate a forklift; 16–17 not allowed to operate forklifts/ balers/ compactors.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Effectively communicate with management and other team members.
• Promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area at all times.
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to management.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
