Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking staff to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for resale across our 100+ stores. The role focuses on processing items quickly while following standard operating procedures and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Effectively communicate with management and other team members.
• Promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Perform tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area at all times.
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting hazards.
