Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a team member to examine and grade donated goods for our Retail stores. You will process items quickly while following standard procedures, helping us meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include courteous guest service, providing donation receipts, sorting donations, communicating with management, maintaining a clean donor door area, and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must have good oral and written English communication.
• Able to work at any Goodwill ADC within the territory.
• Forklift certification preferred or required for operation where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Always display a professional, patient, and people-first attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at donation.
• Address guest questions and resolve problems per procedures.
• Sort donations into designated categories.
• Communicate with management when necessary.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions.
• Evaluate and navigate decisions effectively.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Maintain a neat, clean donor door area/ADC location.
• Adhere to safety practices and report hazards to management.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend and complete required trainings and meetings.
