Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado is seeking an Associate I, Donation Services to greet customers and assist donors at our retail centers. This role works outside in all weather and requires excellent customer service and reliable teamwork.

You will unload donations from vehicles, sort items, and ensure safe, organized operations while supporting nearby centers and drivers. Weekend/evening availability is required with benefits including Daily Pay and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Must be able to work outside in varying weather.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Must work weekends, evenings and holidays with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers and answering questions.
• Assists customers by unloading donations from vehicles or other areas.
• Sorts donated items into appropriate bins or production areas.
• Inspects donations for quality and decides how to sort.
• Maintains a safe, organized and clean environment for customers and staff.
• Supports remote donation centers and follows opening/closing procedures.
• Keeps supplies stocked at remote sites as needed.
• Tracks donation levels and reports when trailers are full.
• Communicates when donation warehouse/trailers require attention.
• Follows all policies and procedures and assists drivers as needed.
• Crosstrains in other departments as required.
