Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a Donation Attendant to maintain a clean sales floor, greet donors, issue receipts, and process incoming donations.

Responsibilities include stocking, labeling hangers, rotating textiles, assisting customers, watching for theft, and following safety protocols. Applicants should have a high school education; prior retail experience is preferred, and light lifting up to 100 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is highly preferred.
• Beginner knowledge of the Internet and ability to look up information.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations politely and issue receipts.
• Rotate stock and bring stock to the sales floor.
• Place merchandise on textile racks and wares shelves.
• Sort, box and label hangers by type.
• Assist in textile color rotation per procedure.
• Greet customers with courtesy and provide assistance.
• Direct customers to proper area and provide information.
• Stay alert for shoplifting and report suspicious activity.
• Keep sales floor and production area clean and safe.
• Follow dress code including name badge and vest.
