Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is hiring to join our store team. You will lead a customer-focused experience, receive donations, label items, and assist with loading furniture and other large items.

You will ensure receipts are given, check for hazardous donations, and maintain organized merchandise according to store standards. The role requires excellent customer service, ability to obtain forklift certification, and reading/speaking English.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Labeling Gaylords correctly.
• Ensure a receipt is offered to each donor.
• Inquires about hazardous donations and provides disposal locations.
• Writes up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assists customers with loading/unloading furniture or other items.
