Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) seeks a team member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience, promote sales, and efficiently receive donations for GCNA and its affiliates. You will place items in the appropriate location in the production room or sales floor and provide courteous service.

Responsibilities include accepting donations, labeling Gaylords, offering receipts, checking for hazardous items, writing up sales tickets, assisting customers with loading,

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accepts donations and provides outstanding customer service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Ensure a receipt is offered to each donor.
• Inquire about hazardous donations and advise disposal locations.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading furniture or other items.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization per standards.
• Assist in loading/unloading onto/off trucks or trailers as needed.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker; perform safety checks on equipment.
• Cross-train in other store positions as business needs.
