Job summary

New England Donor Services is seeking an experienced Donation Coordinator (ICU RN, Critical Care RN, Trauma Nurse or Critical Care Respiratory Therapist) to respond on-site to organ donor referrals and provide clinical expertise in donor evaluation, donor management, organ allocation and organ recovery.

You will educate hospital staff on the donation process, obtain consent from donor families, and collaborate with surgical teams to optimize organs for transplantation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years clinical/critical care experience and a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Annual influenza vaccination is required for clinical staff outside NEDS facilities.
• Ideal candidates live within an hour of New Haven, CT.

Responsibilities
