Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Production Associate to support donation processing and retail operations. You will load and unload donated goods, greet donors, price items, and help keep the sales floor organized. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and excellent customer service in a fast paced environment.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. We offer growth opportunities within a mission driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year minimum experience working successfully in a retail customer service oriented environment.
• Ability to bend, lift, grasp and move continuously through the day.
• Two-person lifting of some heavy objects may be required
• Good verbal communication skills with ability to effectively work as a team to achieve mission goals
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to donors and customers by greeting and accepting donations at donation station.
• Load, unload and move donated goods, materials, including furniture using a hand truck onto or from pallets, racks or shelves to maintain workflow.
• Supply Team Members with materials, boxes, barrels, containers, etc. by walking stations to identify and restock supplies.
• Sorting and pricing of donated items, garments and hard lines with limited supervision; monitoring and recording production levels.
• Keep aisles free from debris, remove obstructions from production and sales floors; inform of hazards.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and adhere to loss prevention procedures.
