Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Production Associate to load and unload donated goods, sort textiles, and prepare items for processing and shipping. This full-time role offers varied shifts and the chance to contribute to a community-focused nonprofit.

You will help maintain clean, safe work areas, assist customers and donors, and support inventory control while providing friendly service. Prior retail experience is preferred; physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year minimum experience in a retail customer service environment.
• Ability to bend, lift, grasp and move continuously through the day.
• Two-person lifting of some heavy objects may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to donors and customers by greeting and accepting donations at donation station. Issue donor receipt in friendly and courteous manner.
• Load, unload and move donated goods, materials, including furniture using a hand truck onto or from pallets, racks or shelves to maintain workflow of production cycle and to distribute donated materials.
• Supply Team Members with materials, boxes, barrels, containers, etc. by walking stations to identify and restock supplies.
• Sorting and pricing of donated items, garments and hard lines with limited supervision; monitoring and recording production levels.
• Keep aisles free from debris, remove obstructions from production and sales floors. Ensure work areas and facilities remain clean and organized.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention and inventory control and compliance procedures.
