Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a part-time Donation Attendant at the Power & Broadway Store in Mesa. You will greet donors, receive donations, label items, and provide receipts while assisting with loading and unloading and maintaining store cleanliness.

The role requires customer service excellence, English proficiency, and the ability to pass a forklift certification. Paid time off and comprehensive benefits are highlighted in the Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives all donations from customers and provides outstanding service.
• Labels Gaylords correctly and offers receipts to donors.
• Identifies hazardous products and guides disposal accordingly.
• Writes sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assists customers with loading/unloading items.
• Maintains merchandise placement and production room organization.
• Loads/unloads merchandise onto/off trucks or trailers as needed.
• Operates pallet jack and walkie stacker safely.
• Performs daily equipment safety inspections and follows safety rules.
• Cleans floors as needed and cross-trains in other store roles.
