Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is seeking a team-oriented associate to process donations and assist customers at our Scottsdale donation center. You will greet donors, sort items, label containers, and prepare shipments while ensuring safety and organization.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, English literacy, and the ability to follow directions. The position supports company operations and maintenance of a clean, hazard-free donation area.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Receives all donations in an expedient, courteous manner and places items in the appropriate place.
• Sorts incoming donations based on general type of merchandise.
• Labels all gaylords correctly for merchandise type and storage.
• Creates manifest for shipping and transport of outgoing gaylords including trucks and trailers.
• Safeguards company property and reports incidents of theft or misuse.
• Assists customers with unloading furniture or other items and keeps donation area clean.
