Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is hiring for a donation center associate in Scottsdale. You will greet donors, process donations, label and organize merchandise, and assist with loading and unloading items while maintaining a clean donation area.

Responsibilities include creating shipping manifests, following safety rules, and providing excellent customer service. A High School diploma or equivalent and ability to read and speak English are required; background check and drug screen

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to follow directions and be trained.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Receives donations from customers and provides courteous service.
• Sorts donated items and labels merchandise for storage and transport.
• Creates manifests for shipping gaylords and assists with loading/unloading trucks or trailers.
• Safeguards company property and reports incidents of theft or damage.
• Assists customers with unloading furniture and keeps donation area clean and safe.

Education

High School education or equivalent

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to follow directions and be trained
